CAPTAIN VOTING & VARSITY DINNER

We are so glad that all those who were out of your homes have been able to return. Since the last part of practice and the dinner had to be canceled on Friday we are going to have them on Monday.

PRACTICE:

There will be a practice on Monday from 1:00 - 2:00 with Team Captain Voting to follow. We will be having the slip and slide after the Captain voting. So bring your suits!

DINNER:

The Varsity Team Dinner has been moved to Monday at 6:00 at Patrece Wadsworth's house 178 East Cottonwood Loop.

A sign up sheet when out last week. Please make sure that all things are brought ready to eat.

CHEER CAMP!!!

This week is Cheer Camp!!

Make sure to bring a Plain White shirt and permanent marker for an activity that they will be doing at camp.

For safety and security USA Resort Camp will be closed to the outside with the exception of the following:

Evaluation Night - Tuesday, June 26th - 6:45pm - 8:00pm
Closing Ceremonies - Firday, June 29th - 11:30am - 1:00pm

If you want to see your children in action please plan on those times.

HELL WEEK!

Please remember that next week is Hell Week.

Practice will go from 8:00am - 11:00am then 1:00pm - 3:00pm Monday - Friday!

Please get lots of sleep, eat a good breakfast and remember to bring sun block and lots of water.

At the end of the week we will have fun on the slip and slide and then have a "Survivors Dinner". There will be a sign up sheet so please make sure you sign up for something!

FUNDRAISER

Letter from Steve:

First off, thank you for your support and assistance with our Walgreens car wash fundraiser today. We made $301.55 in just over 3 hours. That is awesome considering we had to deal with very high winds, blowing sand and cooler temps. Please tell your cheerleaders great job!!

We will be having another Walgreens car wash TODAY Saturday 6/16 from 11AM - 3PM. Please bring supplies for this car wash just as they did today. That worked out very well!

Also, we would like to do a bake sale as well. If every cheerleader could bring one dozen baked goods, indivicually wrapped in plastic wrap, that would be appreciated. We plan to sell them 2 for $1. Cookies, brownies, rice krispy treats, peanut butter rice krispy treats etc.

SARATOGA SPLASH PARADE & GROUP FUNDRAISER

PARADE

Saturday will be our second parade.

Please have all girls/boys at Westlake High School by 8:45 am. You need to enter off of the South end of High School; the North entrance will be shut down. Each cheerleader needs to bring a large bag of small wrapped candy. The Parade will go from Westlake to the Fire Station on 1200 North. Remember sun block and water.


GROUP FUNDRAISER

We have been approved to hold two car washes at Walgreens for the next two Saturdays.

This Saturday will go from 1PM to 5PM (after the parade) and next Saturday the 16th will go from 11AM to 3PM.

Walgreens will provide one sign and Whitney has mentioned that she already has some ones made and laminated. Walgreens will rope off an area for us for this.


If anyone can help with the following, please email Steve Stockmal at steve-n-beckie@runbox.com.

1.) Chaperoning.....Whitney and I will be attending but we need 2-3 additional adults to help.

2.) Does anyone have a "faucet splitter" where you can attach two hoses to one water line?

3.) Does anyone have a pressure washer that we could use?


Also, we will need soap, buckets, sponges, towels etc. Please bring any of these items to use as well.

The more we have the better.

SUMMER TUMBLING

It is time to start our summer tumbling class. It will be on Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 8:30 PM at Jump Up Gymnastics in Lehi on 300 S. MillPond Rd. It will cost $20 for the whole summer so we are getting a killer deal.

We will be starting this Tuesday night. There will not be any refunds for missing it's just a flat fee of $20 for the whole summer.

There is a release form that will need to be filled out before the first tumbling class you can either go to jumpupGym.com or you can come the first day of class and fill it out in the gym.

It was so great to see so many of you at the Pony Express Parade. I know everyone had so much fun!
